Declaration on Accessibility

Technische Universität Dresden endeavours to make its website vcare-project.eu accessible in accordance with national legal provisions implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

This declaration was prepared on 18th August 2020. The last review of the website and this declaration was carried out on 07th June 2022.

Basis for the preparation of this Declaration on Accessibility is a self-assessment carried out by the institution (BITV self-test) (Article 3 para. 1 of the Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of the Commission).

Status of compatibility with the requirements of the German Federal Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (BITV)

Due to the following incompatibilities and/or exceptions, this website is partially compatible with the requirements of the BfWebG in accordance with BITV 2.0.

The content listed below is not accessible to all users for the following reasons: disproportionate burden (Article 5 of Directive (EU) 2016/2102).
List of the non-accessible sections/contents/functions for which the exception based on disproportionate burden is temporarily invoked:

  • Moving contents are not defeatable
  • Contrast of text elements is not always sufficiently high
  • Contrast of graphical elements is not always sufficiently high
  • Menus are not fully usable without a mouse
  • Keyboard focus is not visible
  • Partly incorrect heading hierarchies
  • Partially missing title attributes for detailed specification of links
  • Partially missing description of form fields
