On 26 January 2022, the team of TUD successfully held their planned local Community of Interest Event with about 25 interested participants.
The target audience was primarily clinical researchers and care providers from the region of Dresden (Saxony, Germany) who are interested in Virtual Coaching, personalised assistance for patients by technical means, and eHealth in general.
Hannes Schlieter as head of TUD’s research group Digital Health and technical manager of the vCare project presented the vCare concept in general. Kai Gand, research associate at the TUD team, gave insights on the clinical pathways as a central tool to govern the care as supported by the Virtual Coach. The Professional Portal and Avatar App have been showcased by Emanuel Sandner, research engineer from AIT, as being in charge of the caregiver and patient user interfaces. Lucia Pannese, CEO of Imaginary, outlined concept and approach of the Rehability Serious Games.
We hope for fruitful future discussion with current and hopefully newly attracted partners on how Virtual Coaching can improve care.
